About the Practice

A multi-disciplinary veterinary specialty center would not be complete without a strong internal medicine practice. Since so many diseases and conditions affecting pets have similar symptoms often occurring simultaneously, it takes an adept puzzle solver, which is often what internists are likened to, to diagnose what is wrong.

Requiring knowledge of all bodily systems, internists tend to be “the doctors’ doctor” and have the most frequent interaction with all of their colleagues. We are fortunate that our internal medicine practice is staffed by two exceptionally qualified specialists who take a practical approach to utilizing the most progressive options available to solve perplexing conditions.

  • We’re Pragmatic - We seek practical solutions to your and your pet's needs.
  • We’re Innovative - It is our never-ending quest to learn about and understand the disease processes that plague our patients.
  • We’re Empathetic - We share the strong bond and special relationship families have with their companions.
  • We believe in Quality Service - We work tirelessly to provide the best possible experience for referring veterinarians, patients and pet owners.
  • We’re Collaborative - We bring together all the resources of our team, your insight and TLC’s specialty services to develop a comprehensive medical care plan.
