I can’t say enough about this place. I was there, years and years ago, in the old location, with a dog I’d adopted from the shelter. She was spayed by a vet, of their choosing, and when I brought her home, she started hemorrhaging. When I arrived, they asked me about her, how long I’d had her, etc (answer: about 3 hours). They saved her life, and really kept the cost down. I’ve chosen them for all emergencies, ever since. Most recently, in 2015, our older Weimareiner was in Renal Failure. We’d already accepted this, as our regular vet ran a battery of tests. We took her home that night, just to prepare ourselves but we knew what we had to do. That night her breathing was really bad. We ran her to LIFECentre, and the vets were so kind. They sat on the floor with her, looked at us, and said, even if you could spend any amount of money, there isn’t anything you can do but give her pain meds. It’s time. I appreciated their frankness, and sensitivity, as I was already trying to figure out what credit cards to utilize. Her words, “The gold card treatment would run 6000, but the outcome would be the same. You’ve made all the right choices for her, but the time is coming very soon.” As devastated as I was about losing her, since I’d had her 14 years, it made me feel like it was okay to let her go. I hadn’t missed anything. As much as this was a sad time for me, their sensitivity made it so much easier. Thank you!
