TLC was absolutely fantastic when I took my dog, Tucker, for an emergency visit. His face was so swollen he was unrecognizable and he had bloody stool. I called before we brought him in and the nurse was waiting for us when we arrived. We told the nurse all the information we had and she took Tucker back to see the doctor immediately. They were really busy and the doctor still came out to chat with us within 10min of us arriving, telling us what their plan was for treatment and why they chose it. Shortly after the doctor left another woman came up to give us a quick update before they brought Tucker to see us. At other clinics, lack of communication has been the worst part about emergency vet visits to I REALLY appreciated the frequent updates and attention to detail.
The team was extremely thorough in giving us post-visit care instructions, detailing what to feed Tucker, what medicine to give and how often, and what symptoms to keep an eye out for. I was sent home with pills and they included a pill cutter, little things like that go a long way after a stressful day! They even took it upon themselves to send Tuck’s files to our family vet which saved me a headache.
I was pleasantly surprised by our bill at the end of the visit, we had a very reasonable emergency fee and all of the injections/medications were priced fairly. The woman at the front desk was upfront about the emergency fee over the phone, made checking in/out extremely easy, and was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Tucker was almost 100% back to normal within 24 hours of our visit and has not had any other issues since. I would recommend TLC to anyone looking for an emergency vet and will use them for all of my emergency pet needs in the future!- K.L. Yelp
